Business continuity firm, Link Associates, states in its latest flu report that University of Maryland (US) has found that the H1N1 flu strain dominates and does not mutate with seasonal flu in laboratory tests with ferrets, which, they believe, may ease concerns over the ability of H1N1 to mutate and reinforces how easily H1N1 has swept across the globe.

Meanwhile, the debate surrounding the development and use of a new vaccine continues.
