Mobile messaging solutions provider, PageOne, has launched a new service that send a personalised voice message to the landline or mobile number of thousands of people simultaneously.

With individual pin access, the new service, Voiceblast, gives organisations the option enhance existing incident management messaging infrastructures securely. As it can be used from any touch-tone telephone, it doesn't matter where an administrator is geographically when recording a message, adding immediacy and flexibility to the service. The system is fully configurable, with administrators able to set the number of attempts that are made to contact a recipient and the time period in which to make those attempts.

"Voiceblast represents an excellent way of delivering up to the minute recorded information on the status of an incident or the emergence of a new threat," says Chris Jones, CEO, PageOne Communications. "[It] is the perfect tool for situations such as a potential swine flu outbreak where only voice can convey the current seriousness of an event."
